Description
Experience making your own sterling silver hoop earrings in this half-day workshop.
What will I learn?
During the session you will be taught how to size hoops to your own preference; saw, file and solder; shape your hoops and finally add ear posts. Your hoops will then be polished whist you enjoy a drink. You can choose what size and style to make on the day.
Hoop size: 25mm inside diameter.
Silver thickness: Choose from a range of wires, up to 1.5mm in diameter.
What do I need to bring?
The cost of the workshop covers tuition and all materials required as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks etc.
Don’t forget your reading glasses if you need them as there is a lot of close up work!
What should I wear?
Due to the nature of the tools and materials used in the class you are required to wear sturdy, closed toed shoes. Hair must be tied back and please do not wear loose clothing or scarves; you may not want to get your nails done before the session!
About your tutor
