Order Processing

Inspire Makers will despatch your order as soon as possible, usually within 1-3 days.
Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or Monday will be processed on the following Tuesday.

Delivery Charges

Delivery charges depend on the size of the parcel required to send your order and will be calculated at checkout.

We charge by parcel as there is a wide range of products available to purchase, which vary enormously in terms of weight, size and fragility. Calculating shipping at checkout ensures you are charged the lowest amount possible for your order to get to you safely.

Delivery Services – UK

Most orders will be posted using Royal Mail 48 hour Tracked & Signed* Service or other courier depending on parcel value, size and weight.

Our delivery charges are as follows:

  • Large letter = £2.95 (up to 100g *Tracked only)
  • Small parcel = £4.95 (up to 2kg)
  • Print tube = £5.95
  • Medium parcel = £6.95 (up to 2kg)
  • Large Framed Pictures = £12 (very large pictures may be more depending on size/weight)

Jewellery orders over the value of £50 will usually be sent by first class special delivery at £7.50

Delivery Services – Europe

We do not currently offer delivery outside of UK.

Delivery Services – Rest of the World

If you order goods for delivery outside of the United Kingdom, they may be subject to import duties and taxes. Buyers are responsible for any customs fees/import taxes that may apply. We have no control over these charges and cannot advise you as to what they may be.  For deliveries outside of the United Kingdom, you will be regarded as the importer and it is your responsibility to comply with all the laws and regulations of the country in which the products are to be delivered.

Not received your parcel?

Common causes of delays are:

  • Busy times: such as Christmas, may be subject to slightly longer delivery times dependent on the delivery provider within the UK or country of purchase.
  • “Safeplace”: In the UK, carriers may leave parcels with your neighbours, unless you have specifically opted out of this, or in a safe place that you have agreed with them. Similar arrangements may take place with postal services in countries outside the UK. Please check any arrangements you may have made to ensure your parcel has not been delivered elsewhere.
  • Custom delays: these are out of our control. Inspire Makers cannot be held responsible for items damaged by customs officials.

If you would like to purchase your order online and collect from our Falmouth shop during our opening hours, please choose the “collect” option at checkout. See the website for our current opening hours. Please bring proof of purchase and photo identification or payment credit for collection.


Returns and Refunds

Changed your mind?

If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase we are happy to offer a full refund.

If you would like to return an item please email with your name, address and order number within 14 days of receipt of your order.

Please note: the right to return does not extend to personalised, customised, or tailor-made items. Returns of earrings are also excluded for hygiene reasons, unless they arrive damaged or defective. In the event of an issue with any such items, please email

Items should be returned to us unused, in perfect condition, and in their original packaging within 28 days of receipt of your order.

Inspire Makers reserves the right to reduce the amount of the refund if the item is not returned in a saleable condition.

Buyers are responsible for the safe return of goods and associated postage costs. Please obtain and keep your proof of postage in case of loss or damage in transit so you are able to claim compensation from your chosen carrier.

If you are returning items from outside the United Kingdom, you must mark the package prominently as “Returned Goods” to avoid any customs fees/tax/brokerage charges being levied. Should such charges be incurred then the amount will be deducted from your refund total.

The amount refunded will include the value of standard delivery charges, providing the whole order is returned. If part of the order is retained, shipping costs will not be refunded.

The difference between the standard delivery charge and any expedited cost (such as next day delivery) will not be refunded.

Return postage costs are to be paid by the buyer and are not refundable.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect?

If you receive faulty, damaged or incorrect items, please email within 48 hours of receipt of the goods so we can put it right.

We ask that you also send detailed photographs of any damage to assist in improving our delivery service and managing our carriers.

In the case of faulty, damaged and incorrect goods, return postage costs incurred will be refunded.


Inspire Makers does not accept exchanges for online orders but please do email if you have a problem with your order.


In the interests of fraud prevention, your refund will be issued by the same method by which you paid. It should reach your account within 10 days, however exact timing will depend on how quickly your credit/debit card provider processes the credit.
