Description
Spend some creative hours in the company of Caroline Casswell, a polymer clay jeweller who will introduce you to the basic skills of working with this versatile clay.
What will I learn?
You will be shown how to condition the clay, build ‘canes’ (rather like sticks of rock) and then how to use the canes by slicing them, to make some small items such as beads for a bracelet, buttons, a pendant or cuff links. You will also learn about the use of the clay workers tools, all safely aspects and baking temperatures.
What do I need to bring?
The cost of the workshop covers all the materials required as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks etc.
Aprons are available for you to use, however you may wish to wear clothes that can get messy!
Don’t forget your reading glasses if you need them.
