Original gum and ink painting of the view of the Carrick Roads from Trelissick, displayed in a simple oak frame with white mount.

Gum and ink is a form of resist painting where water soluble gum is built up in layers and used to protect the paper from the various colours of waterproof ink. The gum is then washed away to reveal the image.
