Handcrafted copper oval pendant with verdigris patina, topped with a textured gilding metal loop, suspended on a sterling silver chain.
Gilding metal is a form of brass (an alloy of copper and zinc) but with a higher copper content. It is used to mimic gold and darkens to a rich bronze colour over time.
