By Mo Nicklin

Detailed etching of the Little Dennis Blockhouse, on the Pendennis headland, with watercolour highlight.

The tiny gun tower is one of the oldest buildings in Falmouth, constructed in 1539 as part of Henry III plans for the defence of the Carrick Roads and the mouth of the River Fal from invasion from Europe. It was built before Pendennis Castle which dates from 1540-42.

To create such detailed etchings, Mo will initially draw her favourite Cornish landmarks before meticulously scoring the artwork onto metal plates ready for printing. After inking, Mo will then hand roll the plate through her vintage etching press to produce each unique print.

Also available in a black frame with watercolour highlight.

Limited Edition of 100.
