The Shoreline Stories jewellery collection combines semi-precious stones and beach pebbles each with their own history. It is a collection derived from an extended love affair with sea worn pebbles.
Rebecca has always picked up stones & pebbles, completely intrigued by shapes & colours and the sense of story that each one represents. How far and for how long has it travelled?
She began to combine pebbles with semi-precious stones, initially for the colours but began to think about the word ‘precious.’ Why is a pebble, picked up from your favourite beach with all the attendant memories less precious than a semi-precious stone…? What gives something monetary value?
