Lee Kellgren is a Cornwall-based artist specializing in limited-edition etchings and oil paintings.
Lee is known for her delicate and atmospheric etchings using traditional copper plate and aquatint to create painterly prints. Images about a sense of place and about the quality of the light.
After many years in Bristol as a member of Spike Print Studio, she now has an art studio at Terrace Gallery, Penryn near Falmouth in Cornwall.
Since moving to Cornwall, Lee Kellgren has developed her work into contemporary landscape oil paintings using glowing colour layers and the inter-play of sea and sky. Her current collection of work is inspired by the shifting light and seasons of the nearby South Cornwall coast.
