Description

What will I learn?

In this 3 hour workshop you will use the traditional skills of relief printmaking to make two rubber stamps, which overlay to create a two-colour coast-themed miniprint. Participants will bring photos or sketches of their favourite stretch of coast and we will work to interpret and transform the image into beautiful simple small works of art.

What do I need to bring?

Please bring a coastal photo to use as the basis for the print.

The cost of the workshop covers all the materials required as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks etc.
Aprons are available for you to use.

About your tutor

Jill Dunn of Riverbird Studios has been practising relief printmaking for over seven years and in a full-time professional capacity since early 2021. She works from her own drawings and photographs, combining bold colours with a simple figurative style.
