What will I learn?
The magic of porcelain….In this workshop, Amy Cooper of Amy Cooper Ceramics will talk you through and demonstrate various techniques to explore the translucent properties of porcelain. Working with thin slabs you will have the opportunity to create a unique set of translucent decorations which can be displayed individually in your windows or combined to make a mobile or composite piece. The decorations will be fired and available for collection from Inspire Makers two weeks after the workshop or can posted for a small charge.
What do I need to bring?
The cost of the workshop covers all the materials required as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks etc.
Aprons are available for you to use however, as clay is involved, you may wish to wear clothes that can get messy!
About your tutor
