What will I learn?
Making marks on paper can be fun and drawing is a relaxing. mindful and enjoyable activity whatever your level of skill. If you don’t know where to start with drawing, this no pressure workshop will break down the barriers and start you on your way.
Get over the fear of the blank page by exploring different ways of making marks on paper and playing with an array of drawing materials and tools just for the sheer joy of it.
No experience necessary.

What do I need to bring?
The cost of the workshop covers all the materials required as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks etc.
Aprons are available for use – but you might want to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty, just in case!.
About your tutor
Sharon Bruster is an artist based in North Cornwall artist. She has been studying at Newlyn School of Art for several years and completed two years of intensive professional practice development in June 2023.
Entrance is via the Inspire Makers shop. The workshop space is on the ground floor, however there is a step up from the shop to the back rooms. As it is a Grade II listed building, some doorways and spaces are narrow and may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
Please contact us before booking if you have any physical limitations which might impede your participation in and enjoyment of the class.
