Making your own jewellery can be hugely satisfying. Working with wire is one of the oldest known jewellery techniques and requires no soldering or complicated expensive equipment. This makes it one of the best ways to start your jewellery making journey. In this half day workshop you will create a beautiful one-of-a-kind bracelet from wire and beads, learning some of the basic techniques of jewellery making.
What will I learn?
You will make a unique bracelet (and matching earrings, if time allows) using your own hands and simple tools while practising the techniques of wrapped loops and dangles. With these skills, you can go on to make a wide range of fabulous pieces of jewellery.
What do I need to bring?
The cost of the workshop covers all the materials required as well as tea, coffee, soft drinks etc.
All equipment will be provided as well as a wide selection of materials for you to choose from to make your own unique piece of handmade jewellery. Suitable for complete beginners.
Don’t forget your reading glasses if you need them as there is a lot of close up work.
