Moon through Trees Bowl

Elegant wheel thrown black porcelain bowl decorated with a “moon through trees” sgraffito pattern, finished inside with a lustrous bronze glaze.

Sarah is inspired to create glazes or surfaces where layers build curiosity and interest so at some point the qualities of the original porcelain or clay body will be apparent. This theme manifests in various ways from glassy crackle glazes to scratching through layers of slip and glaze.
