Elegant but functional wheel thrown stoneware vase with speckled and crackled texture, and part finished in a glossy glaze.

Sarah is inspired to create glazes or surfaces where layers build curiosity and interest so at some point the qualities of the original porcelain or clay body will be apparent. This theme manifests in various ways from glassy crackle glazes to scratching through layers of slip and glaze.
