Ceciel is an independent designer-maker with a passion for combining understated and perhaps undervalued materials such as pewter, acrylics, slate or copper in her designs.

Using traditional construction techniques allows for the materials to be elevated into bold, colourful and precious pieces of statement jewellery.

Ceciel worked in the import/export industry in the Netherlands before moving to Cornwall in 1985, where she designed and facilitated Community Art Projects. In 2015 she embarked on Silversmithing and Jewellery studies, graduating with a BA(Hons) in 2019 and a new career as a contemporary jeweller.
