Bella Barker Hall rediscovered her love for pottery in 2020. The raw, tactile nature of clay immediately resonated with her, there being something deeply fulfilling about transforming a soft and malleable material into a refined, lasting piece of work. Since then she has immersed herself in pottery, gradually building a home studio in Camborne, Cornwall.
An intuitive, physical and messy process
Creativity has always been an essential part of Bella’s life, influenced by her family’s artistic roots and her lifelong passion for making. After years of dedicating herself to motherhood and running a business with her husband, pottery has become a restorative journey, rekindling her artistic identity and restoring some balance to her world.
Bella’s work is diverse, reflecting her love for variety and exploration. She draws inspiration from her surroundings — pets, nature, light, and colour. Walks through woodland, countryside, and beaches leave their imprint, feeding her soul and shaping her work.
