Opening Hours: Tues to Sat 10am - 5pm
Rach Richardson has played with clay since pre-school. It’s something that has always intrigued her. It’s raw, mucky, and squishy and Cornwall is shaped by the history of mining clay and traditional ceramic production.
It’s a slow process, waiting for the porcelain to dry, or the kiln to cool down. But it’s outweighed by the opening of the final kiln firing and seeing the hand-painted details have turned into vibrant platinum, just waiting to be made into jewellery.
Delicate yet strong. Contemporary yet classic. Rach Richardson aims for the most sustainable methods and materials for her work, from ethical sterling silver, to her solar powered kiln, or recycling every scrap of clay to create zero waste.
