Louella Jewellery

Louella of Louella Jewellery is a self-taught silversmith, working mostly with sterling silver, to create a unique range of bespoke and one-off pieces of jewellery reflecting the beaches, woods and wild places that inspire her.

Louella was born in Cornwall, and it was growing up in a Cornish farmhouse and spending time exploring the surrounding landscapes and local shorelines that sparked her fascination with nature. Her passion for making jewellery came later when she took up silverwork as a hobby. While working as the manager of an art gallery she realised there could be an opportunity to combine two things that she loved – crafting and the natural world – within her metalwork; and Louella Jewellery was born.

Louella Jewellery features casts shells in silver and copper, sets sea-glass, lichen and feathers alongside raw gemstones and vintage ceramic chips. The shells and sea glass are all hand-picked from local beaches; each piece is unpredictable and one of a kind.
