Glorious Mud Ceramics
Cressida’s relationship with clay started with an evening class while at university studying for her degree. Many Monday nights at Putney School of Art later, and she was still hooked. Cressida is now a full time potter, having given up her sensible job in marketing, to follow her passion through Glorious Mud Ceramics.
The aim is to make people smile when they see her work. Cressida loves old maps and from there came the idea of combining them with ceramics to make a range of products which would appeal to other map lovers and make great gifts. She now has a large collection of old maps which can be scanned and printed on to ceramic tiles, mugs, lampshades and so on.
Everything produced by Glorious Mud Ceramics is designed and made in the UK, by real people, not machines, helping to maintain skills in this country.
