Amy Cooper Ceramics is a Cornwall based husband and wife team designing and making unique porcelain lighting. Established over 15 years ago they have supplied a number of prestigious retailers as well as exhibiting extensively in the UK and overseas.

Amy is particularly inspired by the endless variations in nature and the idea of an ongoing evolutionary process of adaptation. The pieces are created through an elaborate series of processes and techniques in porcelain, including bisque firing, hand stencilling and sandblasting until the design stands proud, or manipulating the clay when soft out of the mould, fettling and sponging before firing.

They work from their home studio, on a beautiful tidal river near Truro, where they live with their two children and dog.
